This document is used to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials. It is not designed to measure the knowledge of a subject, but rather how well the learner engaged with the learning event.
In my experience, I have built dozens of surveys in order to gain feedback from audiences of learners. Again, however, I did not really know what I was doing, so I would simply paste a bunch of questions together and send them out. For the most part, I was really looking only for some personal validation. I made training a lot about “me”, and I wanted to hear compliments and affirmations. I often received them, but they did little to help me build more effective instruction. This questionnaire makes use of an ARCS model to gain specific, useful feedback that can be used by an evaluator to improve the learning experience.
