HPT Case Study Analysis

This is a presentation that summarizes a performance issue at an organization, and highlights the processes that went into diagnosing the issue and prescribing a set of solutions.

As a training professional, I am used to having internal clients ask me to develop training in order to fix a performance issue. The sales reps aren’t answering questions correctly? We need to re-train them. No one is selling the new product? We need more training on it. For years I would blindly dive into training solutions every time that I was asked. This project was fascinating to me because it showed that while training is an important and effective intervention, it is not a “cure-all”.
